Dianna Scates, President
Dianna Scates joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in April 2008. She currently acts as President of the Board and previously served as Vice-President of the Board, in addition to participating on the Service Quality, Executive and Investment Committees.
Dianna is currently the Superintendent of Employee Services with the Trillium Lakelands District School Board. Dianna is also on the Executive for the Kawartha Lakes Concert Band.
Emily Avery-Graves, Past President
Emily Avery-Graves joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in June 2010. She currently acts as Past-President of the Board and previously served as President and Vice-President. Emily is also actively involved with the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Aid Foundation as a committee member for their annual Dream Ball gala event. Emily is passionate about initiatives that help children grow and thrive in our community where she is raising her own family.
Emily is currently the Business Development Manager with Stewart Morrison Insurance Brokers Ltd.
Geoff Grier, Treasurer
Geoff Grier joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in October 2017. He currently acts as Foundation Board Treasurer in addition to participating on the Risk Management and Investment Committees.
Geoff is currently a Financial Planner for Investment and Retirement Planning with RBC Royal Bank in Lindsay.
Greg Murphy, Secretary
Greg Murphy joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in January 2012. He currently acts as Club Board Secretary. Greg has been a Community Coach at LCVI with their basketball and volleyball teams since 1990 and continues to do so.
Greg is currently a Paramedic with the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Chris Schweitzer, Director
Chris Schweitzer joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in March 2012 and participates as a member of the Governance Committee.
Chris has 30 years of teaching and administrative experience and is currently the Principal of Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) in Lindsay. Chris welcomes the opportunity to serve the children and families of CKL. In his spare time, Chris enjoys cycling, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
Laurie Charlebois, Director
Laurie Charlebois joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation Board of Directors in April 2018 and participates as a member of the Investment Committee.
Laurie is currently the Manager of Commercial Banking with CIBC in Lindsay. Laurie also sits on the Board for the Riverside Cemetery and is on their Investment Committee.
