Creating Connections

Starting November 9
Mondays @ 4:30-5:30
Ages 14-17 (Grades 9-12)
A 12 week program intended to provide youth with skills to develop and make healthy choices. The primary focus is on substances and the risks associated with using different substances, as well as mental health, healthy communication and conflict resolution.


Starting November 3
Tuesdays @ 4:00-5:00
Ages 12-17 (Grades 7-12)
A 12 week program intended to provide youth with the tools and techniques to develop and sustain healthy relationships. Topics include: communication tools, personal barriers, differing perspectives, and self-identity.

Youth Music Makers: Virtual Songwriting 

Starting November 18
Wednesdays @ 3:30-5:00
Ages 12-18 (Grades 7-12)
A 10 week program focused on building skills and confidence in song writing. Each youth will be given an acoustic guitar to use for the duration of the program. The group learning envinronment will be paired with one-to-one time to ensure everyone is progressing at their own pace. 

Queer Youth Kawartha Lakes

Fridays @ 4:00-5:00
Ages 12-17 (Grades 7-12)
The Virtual QYKL program is for youth who identify with the LGBTQ+ community and their identified allies. The group is governed by four pillars: safety, belonging, leadership, and advocacy. Contact for the Zoom link!
