Food Programs

Youth have the opportunity to develop cooking and baking skills, plan and budget for meals, grocery shop, and learn about nutrition.

Dinner Program

The Warehouse offers a nightly Dinner Program for youth grades 7-12. Currently, the program serves an average of 60 nutritious meals per week to youth who attend the after school drop-in program. This number is expected to increase throughout the winter months, serving up to 80 meals per week. The youth help create the monthly dinner menu and every Wednesday the youth have the opportunity to join in and help cook the meals.

Project Backpack

Project Backpack is a program that assists young people who are at-risk of weekend hunger by providing them with nutritious food. Youth members can sign up Monday-Wednesday and pick up a backpack of food on Thursdays.

Thanks to President's Choice Children's Charity, we have been able to support Club families for the past couple of years.
