The Youth Music Makers program at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes is launching a 20-week after school curriculum for students dedicated to bettering their skills and knowledge in many fields of music. Some of the topics we’ll be studying in the program are Live Performance, Studio Production and Engineering, Live Sound Production, Songwriting, Music Business, and more. The students will also have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one instrumental instruction, or instruction in any of the topics listed above.

We will be bringing in a number of guest artist and industry personnel to participate in workshops to allow the students to learn first-hand from some of the great talent that Canada has to offer.

CONTACT: If you have any questions about the program, or would like to come take a tour of our facilities, please contact Tanner Paré, Music Supervisor.
