Dryland Training Facility
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes is excited to announce our latest facility rental opportunity. Our Dryland Training Centre is officially open to hockey teams, associations and individuals. On ice training is critical to a team but expense to work on individual skill development so we have brought our community a new tool to help teams and individual players. In the summer of 2018 the club has purchased a variety of dryland tools that coaches can use to work with their teams to develop their skating, stick-handling, shoot, agility and overall conditioning. In addition you can use the gym space to work on positioning and systems.
What do we have to offer?
We can provide you with a variety of tools including-
- Slide board
- Shooting Pads
- Extreme Stick-handling
- Hockey Nets (including net targets)
- Synthetic Ice
- Extreme Passer
- Agility Ladders
- Agility Hurdles
- Pucks (Standard, Biscuits)
